Amazing Mondays

Are you dreading that big job interview coming up? I get it – the whole process can feel like stepping into the spotlight, desperately trying to be our “best selves” while secretly wondering if we’re good enough. It’s enough to make a heart palpitate!

But here’s the thing, – the secret to nailing those common interview questions isn’t about creating some polished persona. It’s about finding the courage to show up authentically. When you do that, magic happens.

Take that classic “tell me about yourself” question. Instead of panicking, see it as an invitation to share your story. Who are you, really? What’s been the arc of your journey so far, and how does it all connect to this very moment and your good fit for this job? Weave a narrative that’s true to you, not some stiff, resume-like regurgitation. Let your passion and personality shine through.

Then there are the tricky “strengths and weaknesses” queries. Far too many of us try to sidestep vulnerability, afraid to admit we’re anything less than perfect. But you know what’s way more impressive? Talking about a genuine challenge you’re actively working on – no shame, just growth. That kind of self-awareness and resilience can make you an unforgettable candidate.

And when they ask where you see yourself in five years, don’t just spout some generic corporate-speak. Dream a little. But ground those dreams in reality. Share the type of work and growth that really lights you up, and how it aligns with the company’s mission. Being clear about your path can not only make you memorable, but help you get there faster.

You see, the secret to knocking these interviews out of the park isn’t about creating a polished facade. It’s about having the courage to show up as your full, authentic self. And you know what? That’s not just impressive – it’s downright magnetic.

If you’d like a little help tapping into that magic, I’d be honored to support you. A coaching session can be a game-changing opportunity to explore your values, strengths, and deepest aspirations – and to practice bringing that whole, gorgeous self to the interview table. Because when you do,  the right doors will fly open.

Have an Amazing Monday (and everyday!),
